Objectives

Tata Institute of Social Sciences – SVE has developed this unique program. ‘Sales & Marketing’ plays a key role in every business. Depending in the industry the roles and responsibilities of a sales and marketing professional varies. Basis the customer also the sales method needs to be modified. This Sales And Marketing Management Courses aims to provide end to end understanding , process and the skills required to become an effective sales & Marketing professional. This program shall be work integrated and will enable the participant to develop sales & Marketing skills in specific industry domains using multiple channels. Specific inputs related to specific industry/sector, products & services shall also be provided before commencing the on the job training.

Eligibility for the diploma course in HR & Admin

  • • Working professional from sales & marketing function.
Course Structure:

The Diploma in Sales Management will be conducted over a period of one year and will cover 20 credits of classroom training and 20 credits of on the job training.

Examination:

The Students assessment will be based on project work done and written examination conducted at the end of the course.

Syllabus:

The diploma consists of five courses. Three of which is core courses shall cover the general sales subject. They include basics of sales & the sales process, selling skills & techniques, use of digital marketing for sales. The balance two subjects are industry /channel specific. In the second semester there would be industry specific electives, namely, Retail, Institutional sales, channel sales (telecom, fmcg, pharma, consumer durables ), banking, insurance and telesales.
